Direct exposure to product, architecture, and client decision-making
A client validated AI value in pilot mode, but outputs are inconsistent and difficult to audit, making leadership hesitant to roll it out to customer-facing operations.
The challenge is not model novelty. The real work is reliability, guardrails, fallback behavior, and measurable business impact in live workflows.
You will architect and implement production-ready AI workflow patterns with strong evaluation and governance practices.

Responsibilities
• Design robust workflow orchestration in Python around AI decision points using OpenAI APIs and retrieval pipelines
• Define evaluation and quality criteria tied to business impact, not vanity metrics, with measurable thresholds
• Implement fallback and review flows for low-confidence model outcomes with auditable logging and traceability
• Partner with product and compliance stakeholders on responsible rollout and governance-ready operating models
Requirements
• You have taken AI features from pilot to production with clear reliability improvements in real user workflows
• You can design safety and escalation patterns for sensitive operational workflows with policy-aware controls
• You understand how to balance model quality, latency, and cost using retrieval/evaluation instrumentation
• You can align technical decisions with governance and compliance expectations in enterprise delivery contexts
Nice to have
• Experience with regulated or audit-sensitive industries where model behavior needs strong documentation
• Experience integrating AI into service operations or support tooling with measurable productivity outcomes
• Experience communicating AI limitations transparently to business teams and client leadership
